Die zehnte Platte der bluesaffinen Hardrocker feiert in diesem Jahr sein 15. Veröffentlichungs-Jubiläum. Es war die erste Studioplatte unter dem alleinigen Namen Whitesnake seit Slip Of The Tongue (1989). Der direkte Vorgänger Restless Heart war 1997 unter dem Namen David Coverdale & Whitesnake erschienen.
Die nun angekündigte Neuauflage wird in vier Versionen erscheinen: Neben einer Doppel-LP-Variante wird es eine reguläre CD, eine Doppel-CD sowie eine 4CD+Blu-Ray-Box geben.
Alle enthalten eine neu gemischte Variante des Albums, die Doppel-CD sowie die Box-Version enthält zusätzlich ein neues Remaster des alten Mixes. Zusätzlich enthält die umfangreichste Variante zahlreiche Alternativ-Versionen und eine Evolutions genannte Platte, die frühe Versionen der späteren Albumsongs enthält. Die Blu-Ray enthält schlussendlich diverses Videomaterial aus der Entstehungszeit von Good To Be Bad.
